Darb-i Fetih - "Schlagart der Eroberung" - ist eine Komposition für Raum, Bühne, Internet und Radio. Das Stück findet auf allen Ebenen gleichwertig statt.
Die Idee entstand aus dem Konzept einer Sprachvermischung auf musikalische Weise. Durch die Verwendung klassischer türkischer Rhythmuspattern und europäischer Melodie- und Konstruktionsschemen entsteht eine Verschmelzung der beiden musikalischen Ansätze.
"Ablauf: Wie komm ich vom sprachlichen Denken zum Klavierspielen?"
Rhythmus, die Behandlung von Sprache im rhythmischen Sinn, also weniger der Sprachinhalt spielt bei diesem Radiostück eine besondere Rolle. Ausgehend von der Sprachbeat-Installation in der "Alten Schmiede(Artothek)", vertiefte sich Rupert Huber in die Zusammenhänge und Übergänge von Sprache, Samples, Loops, Rhythmus und Tönen - bis hin zu den Bezügen von bestimmten Tönen zu bestimmten Rhythmen, "das ist da, wo ich gerade bin .. ein offener Prozeß .."
Aus Einzelmodulen, die im Lauf des 5-monatigen Arbeitsprozesses immer mehr ineinander gewoben, verschränkt, geloopt werden, entstehen neue Module - "das geht immer im Kreis", so bildete sich das Basismaterial für die Radiokomposition. Die Module können horizontal und vertikal in- und zueinander verschoben werden, "mittlerweile ist ein Orchester aus dem geworden, was mit der 1-Minutenfassung "Miles&Emily" begann," ohne die Idee der Konstruktion beliebiger Klänge nach der Grundstruktur klassischer türkischer Rhythmusmuster zu verlassen.
"Rhythmus ist mir wichtig. Ich arbeite gerne mit ethnischen Anklängen, möchte aber nicht "Weltmusik" machen, einer der Gründe weshalb ich von Sprachmaterial ausgehe."
Das Kreispartiturbuch ist gleichzeitig die Partitur und ein multimedialer Roman über die Zeit, in der das Stück entsteht.

Darb-i Fetih - "Moment of Conquest" - is a composition for space, stage, Internet and radio. The piece takes place equally at all levels. The idea was born of the concept of mixing languages in a musical fashion. By using classical Turkish rhythmic patterns and European melodies and constructions a mixture of the two musical perspectives takes place. "Process: How do I get from thinking in language to playing the piano?" Rhythm, the treatment of language with rhythmic sense, and less so the content of the language, plays an especially important role in this radio piece. Starting from the "language beat" installation in the "Alten Schmiede" (Artothek), Rupert Huber has become deeply involved in the connections and transitions between language, samples, loops, rhythm and tones - all the way to the relationship of certain tones with certain rhythms, "that's where I am right now... an open process..." From the individual modules, which were woven into each other, compartmentalized and looped during a 5-month process, new modules are developed - "it always works in a circle..." and the base material for the radio composition is created. The modules can be shifted in and next to each other, both vertically and horizontally, "what started with a one minute version of "Miles & Emily" has now developed into an entire orchestra..." without departing from the idea of construction of random sounds according to the basic structures of classical Turkish patterns of rhythm. "Rhythm is important to me. I like working with ethnic sounds, but I don't want to make "world music", which is one of the reasons that I base my work on language materials." The "loop score book" is simultaneously the score and a multi-media novel about the time in which the piece is created.
