Seit Juli 2002 gestaltet der Künstler und Musiker Chris Cutler das Radioprogramm "Out of the Blue Radio". Das Programm ist ein täglich wechselndes Szenario an ungeschnittenen und unbearbeiteten Field Recordings, ähnlich den Geräuschen und Klängen, die durch ein offenes Fenster dringen; es wird auf dem unabhängigen Sender Resonance FM von 23.30 bis Mitternacht ausgestrahlt.

Für die Kunstradio-Sendung "Twice Around the World" hat Chris Cutler eine Kompilation aus 43 Beiträgen zusammengestellt und nach dem Ort der Aufnahme angeordnet. So macht der/die Hörer/in gleich zweimal eine akustische Reise um die Welt. Den Beginn macht John Scott in London (wo die Soundreise auch wieder endet), der für den Marathonlauf trainiert. Dazwischen sind Aufnahmen aus dem Musée Mechanique in San Francisco, einer Straßenkreuzung in L.A., Morgenstimmung in Tokio aufgenommen von Otomo Yosihides Wohnungsfenster, einer Radfahrerdemo in Mailand, von Richard Windeyer auf dem Weg zum neuen Bond-Film in Toronto, von John Kennedy am Flughafen in Auckland/NZ oder Phillip Mar beim Zahnarzt in Sydney zu hören.

Since July 2002 the radio show "Out of the Blue Radio" which goes back to an idea and is programmed by the artist and musician Chris Cutler, has been on air. The programme itself offers a daily changing scenario of unedited field recordings, resembling sounds and noises coming in through an open window. It is broadcast daily between 11.30 p.m. and midnight on Resonance FM, an independent art radio station.

For Kunstradio, Chris Cutler has compiled 43 contributions to make the acoustic journey "Twice Around the World", arranging the pieces due to the place of their recording. Thus, the listener makes a sound-based travel twice around the globe. John Scott sets off the journey in London (where it also comes to an end) where he's training for the Budapest marathon. In between you hear recordings from the Musée Mechanique in San Francisco, from an intersection in L.A., morning sounds in Tokyo recorded by Otomo Yosihide from his apartment, a demonstration organized by cyclists in Milano, environmental sounds recorded by Richard Windeyer on his way to see the new Bond movie in Toronto, recordings from John Kennedy at the airport in Auckland/NZ or by Phillip Mar from an appointment at his dentist in Sydney.
