[ English Version ] Der Plot einer Geschichte ist im Namen des Dorfes verborgen. Das Dorf heisst Topolò. Ein kleines italienisches Grenzdorf nordöstlich von Cividale im Friaul, in der slowenischsprachigen Benecia, genau an der grünen Grenze zu Slowenien. Historisch konfliktreich ist es in den letzten Jahren durch die jährliche Kunstinitiative von Donatella Ruttar/Moreno Miorelli bekannt geworden als "stazione di Topolò/postaja Topolove". Topolò ist ein ungewöhnlicher Name für ein Dorf. Zugleich poetisch wie musikalisch, fast wie eine Formel. Gertrude Moser-Wagner konzentriert sich daher auf das -o-. Es ist dreierlei: Kreis, Ziffer, Buchstabe. Das Projekt o-plot-o arbeitet in seiner visuellen Ebene ausschließlich mit Personen, die ein solches -o- in ihrem Namen haben, was ohnehin fast jeder zweite hat, ob slowenisch oder italienisch. Akustisch gesehen liegt der Fokus des Interesses auf dem Laut -o-, ein interkulturell verbindlicher Ausruf oder Anruf als o! von durchaus emotionaler Qualität. Exklamationen und Gespräche darüber wurden mit der Bevölkerung aufgenommen, welche gleichzeitig Inhalte und Werte evozieren, seien sie erfunden, real, linguistisch, rituell. Mit dieser Partitur im Kopf wird Topolò als sein eigenes Anagramm wahrgenommen o-plot-o, das Geheimnisse birgt. Der Kunstradio-Klangort "o-plot-o" ist ein Nachbau der akustischen Ebene von zwei Projekten in Topolò. Der Künstler Michael Delia und die Künstlerin Gertrude Moser-Wagner waren 2003 in Topolò eingeladen und haben mit der Situation und den Menschen vor Ort gearbeitet. Michael Delia hat einen Workshop mit Jugendlichen geleitet, bei dem mit jeweils vor Ort gefundenen Materialien Instrumente gebaut und darauf gespielt wurden. Gertrude Moser-Wagner hat sich auf die Suche nach dem -o- gemacht. The village is called Topolò. A small Italian border town North-East from Cividale in Friaul, in the Slovenian-speaking Benecia, right on the border to Slovenia. Historically full of conflicts, in recent years it has become well-known for the annual arts initiative "stazione di Topolò/postaja Topolove" organized by Donatella Ruttar/Moreno Miorelli. Topolò is a strange name for a village: Poetic and musical at the same time, almost like a formula. Gertrude Moser-Wagner therefore focusses on the -o-. It has three layers of meaning: a circle, a number, and a letter. On a visual level, the project o-plot-o deals only with people who have an -o- in their name, which more or less every other person has here, regardless whether they are Slovenian or Italian. The acoustic focus is laid on and directed by an interest for the sound of an -o-; the exclamation o! is known in all cultures, binding these together and emotionally of highest quality. Exclamations as well as conversations on this theme with the village population have been recorded and evoke content and values - fictional, real, linguistic, ritual. This score in mind, Topolò is perceived as its own anagram, full of mysteries. The "o-plot-o" sonic space created for and on Kunstradio is an imatation / clone of the acoustic input of two projects realized in Topolò. The artists Michael Delia and Gertrude Moser-Wagner were invited to Topolò in 2003 and, in their work, dealed with the situation and people on site. Michael Delia made a workshop with teenagers where they built instruments with materials found on site and then made music with these self-constructed instruments.
