Sirenen, intim

von Lucas Cejpek
in 5.1 Dolby Surround

„Sirenen, intim“ is a radio piece based on the working process of the radio play production „Sirenen“ by the same author. During the studio recording for „Sirenen“ in June this year, Lucas Cejpek, author and director of the radio play, set up addtional microphones in the studio and recorded the actors and technicians chatting, laughing, rehearsing, discussing etc.
As the title suggests, it gives an intimate „insight“ into this process – combined with music, various sounds and different stages of the editing process these fragments of private conversations create a short and entertaining radio piece.

Lucas Cejpek at the Alte Schmiede in Vienna:

On November 22, 7 p.m. Lucas Cejpek presents his recent radio play „Sirenen“ as well as the radio art piece „Sirenen, intim“ at the Alte Schmiede in Vienna in the course of an evening dedicated to new radio play productions, Sprachkunst & Radiophonie.
