„Punto Singular“ is a sonic exploration of our perception of reality playing with an alleged objectivity. A sentence consisting of eight words is spoken by four women, which takes exactly eight seconds. By editing and reprocessing the recordings of the voices, they are perceived very individually, and in manifold ways. With „Punto Singular“, José Iges tries to make clear that precisely the alleged objectivity of chronometry is the illusion, but that we depend on these means of measuring in order to experience reality at all.
