Manchester based artist and curator Mathias Fuchs compiles an evening of games with sounds, texts and game ideas. He includes works by Bob Ostertag und John Zorn, Herbert Weixelbaum and his Gameboy Music Club, Modified Toy Orchestra, Carsten Höller and the Kunstradio listeners.

The artist Carsten Höller developed his Book of Games in 1998 together with friends and companions. It was published by Hans-Ulrich Obrist at Oktogon Verlag Berlin.

Helmut Bohatsch and Katharina Olschbaur read a selection of conceptual game situations. The rules serve to induce imaginary players to absurd or mysterious situations.

Excerpts from the Book of Games were shown as a sound installation in the exhibition „GAMES“ (28.5.-6.7.2008, Kunsthalle Wien project space, Karlsplatz, Vienna).
