Did the battle of the angels in the sixth book
of John Milton’s “Paradise Lost” reduce the universe
to a blank, empty space? What is the landscape like, void of mountains,
because angels used them as missiles? Drawing on John Milton’s descriptions of possible universes, Marold Langer-Philippsen based the sixth instalment of his PARADISELOST series on conversations the curator Mira Keratová conducted with the visual artist Stano Filko about his “psycho-philosophical system” and also uses five vinyl recordings of the Happsoc 4 events, which Stano Filko produced between the years 1967 and 1971, as well as noises and sounds from the world of transport. PARADISELOST VI LANDSCAPE is an listening space for an imaginary landscape.
