The Mexican-born composer Angélica Castelló and the Austrian author Sabine Scholl have produced a special homage to the radio, to the voices, to the dust, to the sounds and the intermediate sounds. The artists remember the beginnings and deepening of their love for this ever-changing medium. Radio as a warm and soothing creature has the power to let new and imaginary worlds emerge and help to forget about reality.
A common early childhood memory, which also can be found in "radio: staub und zähne", is the astonishment of how so many people who speak and make music fit into such a small apparatus.
