Born in 1983, João Bacalhau escaped the clutches of an MSc degree in Electrical Engineering, leaving it forever on the limbo. He recognizes himself neither as scientist nor as artist. He has been an active collaborator of Rádio Zero since 2004, taking the position of programming department director from 2005 onwards. Currently also having a paid job as a sound designer, he escapes Portugal in every possible chance of meeting new cultures abroad. This true globetrotter is also a fan of TV series, reading and Brazilian jiu-jitsu.
Previous works include a six-hour special review of Radia for Antena 2, Portuguese public broadcaster, in January 2008.
