Kim Dawn


Kim Dawn, 1972, writer, performer, video and installation artist. kim dawn graduated with her Bachelor of Fine Art from the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design in 1996. dawn graduated with her Master of Fine Art from the University of Western Ontario in 1998. dawn moved out to Vancouver BC with her partner scott russell in may of 2001 to do a 2 month resdency at the Western Front and exhibit a performative video installation entitled 'where her tongue wept'. dawn recently performed in 'Catwalk Envy' an event at the Western Front curated by Lori Weidenhammer and Loreena Wolfer. dawn has recently been published in 'Writing Aloud' ed by Christof Migone and Brandon Lasalle, Arts Atlantic, Front magazine, cv2 commemorative issue. her video 'clown' can be seen on http://www.120seconds.com.
