    In this recording made in November 1989, as part of the Talking Art series held at the ICA., the artist discusses his work with Michael Archer, in the same month as the sculptor's first major retrospective opened at the Whitechapel Art Gallery. Craig Martin, talks about his earlier <conceptual> works such as <A Glass of Water Called an Oak Tree>, and his use of renamings, substitutions and juxtapositions to provide the means by which he scrutinises and reappraises the real and the imagined.
