Geboren 1955 in Baden bei Wien Studierte Malerei an der Akademie der Bildenden Künste in Wien, Unterrichtstätigkeit, seit 1989 freischaffende Künstlerin, Entwicklung der SYSTEME, ortsbezogener, konzeptioneller Skulpturen. Eva Wohlgemuths Interesse an elektronischen Räumen entstand aus ihrem Interesse, reale mit virtuellen Orten zu verbinden. Born 1955 in Baden bei Wien Trained as a painter at the Academy of Fine Arts, Vienna (1979), Eva Wohlgemuth was a teacher at Austrian high schools for ten years. At these times she explored and developed her original "Systems"-work. The System work of Eva Wohlgemuth is a mental network of objects,located geographically. Her interest in electronic networks grew out of her work of linking physical spaces to virtual realms. Together with Kathy Rae Huffman, Wohlgemuth realizes Internet communication works.
