(sich) weg bewegen
vom rauschen des wassers beim zusammenfluss von sill und inn:
sechs maultrommler
(A,B, C.....F) spazieren sillabwärts zum zusammenfluss
von sill und inn. sie konzentrieren sich auf das wassergeräusch
beim zusammenfluss von sill und inn. die maltrommler entfernen
sich der reihe nach vom zusammenfluss. der erster maultrommler
(A) bewegt sich solange weg, bis er glaubt, kein wassergeräusch
mehr zu hören. dann bleibt er stehen, dreht sich langsam
im kreis, horcht und schaut und beginnt zu maultrommeln. (B)
folgt (A). er bewegt sich solange weg, bis er glaubt, kein wassergeräusch
mehr zu hören und handelt wie (A), möglicherweise
nahe bei (A), und er beginnt zu maultrommeln. (C) folgt (B).
die mischung abnehmenden wassergeräuschs und zunehmenden
maultrommelgeräuschs wirkt auf (C) anders als auf (B).
wie auch immer, (C) entscheidet an einem von (B) und (A) verschiedenen
Ort wohl, er könne das rauschen des wassers nicht länger
hören. so bleibt (C) stheen, beginnt, sich im kreis zu
drehen, horchend, schauend und maultrommelnd wie (B) und (A).
auf dieselbe weise folgend die übrigen maultrommler, bis
sich alle teilnehmer ausser hörweite des wassers befinden.
die lautstärke der maultrommelgeräusche hat entsprechend
zugenommen.
dieses spiel kann
durch video und tonband konserviert werden. nun könnte
man (sich) weg bewegen von der bild- und tonaufzeichnung des
rauschens des wassers beim zusammenfluss von sill und inn. weggehen
bis zum ende des hörens des rauschens: konzentration auf
die kategorie des sich entfernens. sich wegbewegen vom wasserrauschen,
sich wegbewegen von dessen technischer reproduktion. konzentration
auf die mystifikation der konzentration. konzentration auf die
mystifikation des weg bewegens. - jeder besitzer einer maultrommel
kann (sich) weg bewegen vom rauschen der geräusche etwa
einer rundfunksendung bei sich zu hause. er konzentriert sich
auf eine beliebige rundfunksendung. er konzentriert sich ausschliesslich
auf ihre akustische erscheinung. der rundfunkhörer konzentriert
sich solange, bis er seine konzentration für optimal hält.
dann beginnt er, sich langsam vom rundfunklautsprecher zu entfernen,
solange bis er glaubt, kein rundfunkgeräusch mehr zu hören.
dann bleibt er stehen, dreht sich langsam im kreis, horch und
schaut und beginnt zu maultrommeln.
dieses spiel kann
konserviert werden.

FOR INSTANCE
to move away from the sound of the water where
the rivers sill and inn meet:
six jew's-harp-players (A, B, C.....F) walk along
the sill to where this river joins the river inn. they concentrate
on the sound of water at the junction of sill and inn. the jew's-harp-players
walk away one after the other from the junction. the first jew's
harp-player (A) moves away until he believes not to hear any
water-sound anymore. then he stops, moves slowly in a circle,
listens and looks and starts to play his jew's harp. (B) follows
(A). he moves away until he believes not to hear any water-sound
anymore and acts as (A) has done, possibly close to (A), and
he starts to play his jew's harp. (C) follows (B). the mix of
diminishing water-sounds and growing jew's harp-sounds influences
(C) differently than (B). however, (C) decides at a place different
from the ones of (B) and (A), that he cannot hear the water
anymore. so (C) stops, starts to turn around and around, listeníng,
looking and playing the jew's harp just like (B) and (A). in
the same way the rest of the players follow, until all the participants
are outside of the sound-range of the water. the volume of the
sound of the jew's harps has increased accordingly.
this game can be stored on video and audiotape.
one could move away from the recordings of the water-sound at
the junction of sill and inn. walk away to the end of the hearing
of the sound: concentrating on the category of distancing oneself.
to move away from the sound of the water, to move away from
its technical reproduction. concentrating on the mystification
of the concentration. concentrating on the mystification of
distancing oneself. - every owner of a jew's harp can move away
from the noise of the sounds, e.g. of a radio-broadcast in his
home. he concentrates on any given radiobroadcast. he concentrates
exlusively on its acustical appearance. the radio-listener concentrates
until he considers his concentration optimal. then he starts
to slowly move away from the radio loudspeaker until he believes
not to hear any radio-sounds anymore. then he stops, moves slwoly
around in a circle, listens and looks and starts to play the
jew's harp.
this game can be stored.
