Well they've got me on the treadmill again. I have been searching for documentation. Unfortunately nothing visual. I didn't want to tempt fate by recording it on camera. However along with the DAT I have my map of the event. Yours Sincerely,

Email from Jeremy MortimerTo: Matt Thompson Cc: Caroline Raphael,Pam Fraser Solomon From: Jeremy Mortimer Subject: A CIRCLE OF STARS Date: 30/06/95 Time: l:l9p Dear Matt, I listened with great interest to to the tape of CIRCLE OF STARS. (I borrowed the one that you sent to Lyn). Although I am not sure that it works 100%, I think that it is a remarkable piece of work, and I really do congratulate you and Rex, and John's Partington and Helgey for getting it together and into the air. It is strange how at times the mix of languages and effects make a real whole, and at other points it feels more of a hole. John does hold it together, and I particularly liked the phone conversation he has with himself. Was the 'Are you calling Moscow ?' real or planned ? I do hope that we get the chance to do more of this kind of thing. And I think it is important that this programme, and the process you went through to get it on the air, is reviewed properly by CR4. I also hope that the Drama department hangs on in there. I know that Liz has heard the tape (she referred to it as 'startling'!) and is keen for us to keep working away at the cutting edge of interactivity !! Thanks again, Jeremy JEREMY MORTIMER |
