Musicians representing KOL-ISRAEL at the Horizontal Radio Project

Three musicians with background that consists of a wide range of musical fields are focusing on the musical traditions of the Arab and Jewish immigrational cultures as symbolized by the Golden era of Spain (11th-14th Century).

The sources of knowledge and inspiration are elderly informants who passed down the oral tradition as was passed down to them.
The trio maintains the use of acoustic instruments leaving a lot of space for improvisations while aiming to enhance the rich qualities of timbre rhythm and melody, typical to these traditions.
