Radio Astronomy RMX

02:50 - 03:40

listen (mp3)

Radio Astronomy  is a collaborative art/science project between r a d i o q u a l i a, and radio telescopes located throughout the world devoted to broadcasting audio from our cosmos.
For their Radio Astronomy RMX, Honor Harger and Adam Hyde from
r a d i o q u a l i a are listening to radio signals being transmitted from planets and stars and making a new, radiophonic sound piece. Thinking of radio in this way radically enlarges the concept, thus opening up to an expanded field of radio.

In cooperation with electrolobby - Ars Electronica Fetsival 2004.
