EARAT SHULAYM ("Note in the Margin") is an independent quarterly of contemporary art and literature, which is published by the Jerusalem based group of artists SALA-MANCA (Lea Mauas, Diego Rotman). The aim of the magazine is to present works that were conceptualized far from the existing mainstream. The magazine is published without any official support.

The third issue is devoted to sound works and to the relation between sound-text and sound-image as is conceptualized and expressed by Israeli artists from different fields: voice, sound-poetry, electronic music, sound artists and DJs. Sound as art is the common field of the works. Sound as material, sound as the aim, and the relationship between sound and it's graphic expression.
