"Dieses Tonband ist die optische und akustische Vermessung dieses Raumes"

Das Tonband läuft durch zwei diagonal im Raum aufgestellte Tonbandgeräte von denen das eine auf Empfang, das andere auf Wiedergabe geschaltet ist.

Das Wiedergabegerät reproduziert laufend das oben angeführte Statement, während das auf Empfang geschaltete Gerät  die durch das Publikum verursachten Geräusche aufnimmt und damit die Reproduktion des Statements laufend verändert., Graz, 1973.

"This tape is the optical and acoustical measuring/surveying of this space".

The tape runs through two diagonally positioned tape-recorders. One of them is in recordng mode, the other one in reproducing mode. The reproducing machine constantly reproduces the above mentioned spoken statement (in German), while the recording machine registers the sounds caused by the audience thus constantly interfering with the reproduction of the statement."
