Dimitry Nikolaev.

Was born in 1960 in Moscow.
Theatre stage director by education.
After he had graduated from GITIS (Theatre academy) in Moscow made 17 theatre productions on stage and on TV.
Now he is drama director of All-Russian State Station Radio ONE in Moscow. Also a guest director in foreign radio stations (last year in Poland, Slovenia and Hungary).
Since 1994 expert of Ars Acustica European Broadcasting Union Group. His Ars Acustica pieces were broadcasted in Australia, Austria, Canada, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Poland, Sovenia, Spain, the UK, The US and Yugoslavia.
In 1994 he won the Grant of Moscow Contemporary Art Soros Fund. In the same year he received Eloquence of Sound Award of Phonurgia Nova International Contest, Arles, France and the Price of Polish Radio. In 1996 he won the Experimental Price of International Prix Ostankino Radio Festival Moscow.
As guest teacher and lecture he works for several foreign and international organisations like Toonel school in Utrecht Amsterdam University, Summer University of International Maison de Radio Arles. Also he is director of on-stage sound productions. The latest performance of that kind - "Russian futurists sound poetry" made für Nordic Sound Festival on Faroer Islands.
