Heimo Lattner does not differentiate between the process of creating an artwork and the sound results. His interest is to extend the limits and to blur boundaries. he crosses the border between high art as product and everyday kitsch as material. He designs cells to live in and places them into various locations. Their use and form should help to overcome spatial and human limits. He also uses radio programs to become fast and dense collages. Lattner develops a particular vocabulary whose structure becomes, in the end, ambiguous. This chaos leaves no possibility other than looking to build some sense in each respective situation. His installations should meet the visitors with intensity which they cannot evade physically and psychologically.

Statement:
1 Starting point/concept/background
*Installation as public experimental area.
*Performance as element of the installation.
*Environment/spatial context as a stage. Insallation as a backdrop.

2 Installation
*How do you succeed to combine the work process with the situation or space in which it is created for presentation?
*Through the manipulation of space in a public installation environment the visitor becomes user. In this way, the space disconnects from its established context and becomes an element of the work itself. Through this working process the outcome or result of the work is unpredictable.

3 Sound works
*Sound as a reason for something occurring.
*Sound material are all available radio frequencies including AM/FM.
*The source material is all the free accessible information from radio stations.
*Randomness contributes to a large part of the idea.
