is a collaboration between Glasgow-based artists and musicians Feronia Wennborg and Simon Weins. Working with DIY electronics, domestic recordings and digital feedback, the duo develops material through a process of re-sampling and digital transformation. Their collaborative and solo work has been exhibited and performed in the UK and internationally.
In December 2019 soft tissue released their self-titled debut on London-based label Penultimate Press, a collection of sonic explorations based on recordings from everyday life and experiments in analogue feedback. Recent projects include Leaks, a commission for West Den Haag (2020), it, still, a commission for Radiophrenia (2020) and a Creative Lab Residency at CCA Glasgow through AC Projects (2020).
