Die kanadische Künstlerin Anna Friz, die sich bereits an mehreren Kunstradioprojekten beteiligt hat, stellt aktuelle Radiokunststücke aus Kanada vor.

"Saltspring (rain, rain, rain and more)"
Robert Kozinuk, ein Pionier der kanadischen Piratenradioszene hat einen November lang auf den Saltspring Inseln verbracht und dort mit seinem Mikrophon die Regenfälle und das immer-feuchte Klima eingefangen. (in Zusammenarbeit mit Co-op Radio, Vancouver, entstanden)

"Tizita: Conversations with my mother's sisters"
von Elleni Centime Zeleke erzählt aus der Familiengeschichte der zum Teil in Äthopien und zum Teil in Vancouver beheimateten Künstlerin. "Tizita" bedeutet in Amharic "Erinnerung". Das Wort wird auch als Bezeichnung für ein musikalisches und poetisches Genre verwendet, im dem Verlorenes besungen und beschrieben wird.

Stereotyped Latter-Day Opinions

Fragments
by Jean Routhier. Fragments is composed in two sections: "Fragment" and "Bris"
Elements put together from personnal interrogations / interactions with the source material. Playing with subtle and obvious contrasts like cracks in a tea cup the size of a public pool, Fragments charms the listener who owns BIG ears. Likewise "Bris" is a sound collage comprised of a series of variations that contrasts similar sound motifs and plays on the expectations of the listener.

Weiters werden Arbeiten von Industry and Agriculture, aka Joseph Monteyne und Brady Cranfield, zwei DJs und "soundscape artists" aus Vancouver, vorgestellt werden.
